Employer Reporting – 2019 Draft Forms and Instructions

The IRS released the 2019 draft 1094/1095 forms employers will use to report coverage and plan enrollment data in early 2020. Although there was some speculation that there may be changes now that the individual mandate is no longer in effect, the 2019 draft forms are almost identical to the 2018 forms and instructions. It is not expected that there will be any significant changes to the final versions, so employers can expect the process to be similar to previous years.
