Process:

  • Benefit Comply collects the information necessary to create the ERISA documents including benefit plan information such as carrier, renewal date, eligibility, etc
  • Once all information is received, Benefit Comply engages in ERISA document creation
  • Documents are delivered back to the employer along with guidance on distribution rules

  • Annual Wrap Document check up

Wrap Docs Legal Plus is for employers with more complex benefit designs or special situations such as complicated controlled groups. The necessary documents are drafted by an attorney who provides individualized guidance as part of the project.

Process:

  • Benefit Comply Attorney and client meet for a one-on-one kick-off call
  • The Attorney collects all necessary information to create the ERISA documents including benefit plan information such as carrier, renewal date, eligibility, etc
  • Once all information is received, Benefit Comply Attorney creates ERISA wrap documents
  • Attorney and client meet to review documents
  • Any changes that come out of the review meeting are input into the documents
  • Final Documents are delivered back to the employer along with template ERISA notices and guidance on distribution rules and

A crucial component of ERISA compliance is keeping your documents up to date when benefits changes are made. We can handle this for you.

Process:

  • 2 months before every annual renewal, the client will receive a reminder and checklist to help communicate any benefits changes back to  Benefit Comply
  • Benefit Comply will make any necessary modifications to the ERISA documents
  • Benefit Comply will create Summary of Material Modifications (SMM) for distribution to plan participants
  • Throughout the year, if ERISA requirements change, Benefit Comply will notify the client and make any necessary updates to the documents

Price: $250 when purchased at point-of-purchase of the original project.
